Bio: Joann Yarrow is a director and producer with 35 years of experience, specializing in story development across several platforms. She is the founder and Director of Live Animation Studios, Distinctive Voices, LLC and Director of Community Engagement for Syracuse Stage. She has taught Acting for Animators at ADA Labs in Kenya and has done several international VO commercials with MyGosh Switzerland for clients such as Vogue - Italy and L’Occitane – Paris. Joann worked for Hal Prince on seven Broadway productions and co-founded A Laboratory for Actor Training with Vernice Miller inspired by their collaborations with Odin Teatret in Denmark. As Artistic Director of Teatro Prometeo, she partnered with Lau Lapides to offer the Miami Hispanic Showcase presenting bi-lingual talent to national agents and casting directors. Joann is passionate about fostering multicultural commercial work and bringing stories to life.
